Belah Shearers Quarters:

Belah Shearers Quarters is a very comfortable bush camp. It was built in the mid-20th century to accommodate shearers when Gundabooka was a functioning sheep station.

Today this heritage accommodation features six bedrooms with two single beds in each room, a verandah, kitchen and eating area. This retreat can accommodate up to twelve people inside the house and another six people in tents, campers or caravans. While still maintaining its historic charm, Belah Shearers' Quarters today offers modern facilities including electricity, air-conditioning and an amenities block with hot showers..

Apart from the building, which has airy verandahs with protective flyscreens, there is a large shade shelter, tables and chairs for meals in the dining room or outside, lighting and refrigeration and soft-backed camp chairs for meditating and relaxing around the campfire. There is a shower shed with hot water showers and two flushing toilets.

There are no laundry facilities available at the venue although you can of course hand-wash.

If you are in a tent or caravan, you can ‘pitch your home’ in various areas around the Quarters.

Please discuss your accommodation needs when booking.

Please note: there is no mobile phone or internet access
